Holiday Gift From Service Uniform

Don’t think uniforms are a great gift? Well, here are three reasons why they are:
Your employees will save money.
Uniforms are an added benefit for your employees. By wearing uniforms at work, they are protecting their personal wardrobe from wear and tear, thus saving money in the long run. A uniform rental program is like giving them a Christmas bonus each month of the year!

Uniforms give your team a more unified look.
Uniforms create a feeling of pride and unity, something every employee should feel. It has been proven that uniforms in the workplace discourage negative feelings toward employee rank and tenure. By looking sharp and professional, your team will perform like an award winning team.

The gift that keeps on giving.
With a uniform rental program from Service Uniform, you and your employees will receive the best service all year round. Our Blue Chip Tracking System ensures that we will always pick up and deliver the right amount of uniforms every time.

There are so many ways your company and employees will benefit from a uniform rental program from Service Uniform. So scratch one more name off your list and give us a call today.

Typhoon Relief Donations – We Did It and You Should Too

Service Uniform Typhoon Relief Donations

Typhoon Haiyan may have been the most powerful tropical cyclone to ever make landfall. 370 miles wide with winds reaching 235 mph, the storm tore through the Philippines taking many lives and leaving behind total devastation.

At Service Uniform, we can’t stand by and do nothing to help. That’s why we’re donating 300 garments to Clothes4Souls. It’s not much, but if everyone donated a few garments from their closet then together we can help the millions of people affected by this disaster start to rebuild their lives.

What is Clothes4Souls?
Clothes4Souls, a division of Soles4Souls, is a global not-for-profit institution dedicated to fighting the devastating impact and perpetuation of poverty. Right now the organization is working with emergency response providers in the Philippines to help provide safe, sturdy footwear, new clothing and other necessary items for the victims. You can visit their website to learn more about you can help.

What Do Daylight Saving Time and Uniforms have in Common?

Is this a trick question? Maybe.

FallClock

Daylight saving time is a change in the standard time with the purpose of getting better use of the daylight and this weekend everyone will need to set their clocks back an hour. There is an international debate about whether daylight saving time is necessary. Most people are in favor because it supposedly conserves energy and encourages people to spend more time out of the house. However, there is push back because no valid study has been done to prove that daylight saving time actually does conserve energy.

So what does a uniform rental program have in common with daylight saving time? Absolutely nothing! And that’s a good thing.

Although a uniform rental program may not conserve energy, it will save you money and time in the long run. With Service Uniform, you are given a program that is set to succeed from the beginning, so you won’t experience any setbacks. We are a family-owned business and will work with you and your company to meet your needs. Unlike daylight saving time, there is no need to change your program. We will get it right the first time.

Why Are Occupation Costumes Popular?

Every year we see a lot of familiar Halloween costumes like a ghost or a doctor. Now, it makes sense why people would dress up as something spooky like a ghost, but a doctor?

Why do you think people like to wear occupation costumes?

Service Uniform

Everyone has their theory, but at Service Uniform we have it figured out. It’s because people respect those in a uniform.

Think about it, people like to dress as doctors for Halloween because they get to put on the alter-ego of someone who saves lives. How cool would it be to save lives?

Although not everyone can be a doctor in everyday life, a uniform rental program can make your employees feel like heroes and your company will gain respect from customers.

We know that people respect those who wear uniforms because they signify professionalism, hard work, and integrity.  A customer is going to respect your company if the employees are wearing uniforms, more than the companies that allow their employees to wear jeans and a t-shirt. We know that it’s important for employees to reflect the image of the company that they work for, so we’re dedicated to creating the right look.

If you want to gain respect for your company, contact Service Uniform today to set up a uniform rental program that’s right for you. If you’re already our customer, tell us how great it feels to be respected.

Happy Boss’s Day

Have you learned a lot at your current job? Do feel excited to come to work every day? If you have a question, does it get answered? If you answered yes then you may have one awesome boss! Wednesday October 16th is Boss’s Day and we at Service Uniform want to remind you to thank your supervisors and managers.

Happy Boss's Day from Service Uniform

Boss’s Day started in 1958 with Patricia Haroski. Patricia was a secretary who worked for her father at State Farm Insurance. She chose her father’s birthday as the date for the holiday and registered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Boss’s Day has traditionally been a day for employees to thank their bosses for being kind and fair throughout the year. Some people like to give their bosses cards, certificates or flowers. Writing a personal note about how much of an inspiration they’ve been to you or what you have learned while working with them is also a great way to celebrate.

So what do you do if you’re having a hard time with your boss? Well, don’t forget that they’re people too, so take Boss’s Day as an opportunity to improve your relationship with them. Take your boss out for coffee or lunch and try to understand their position and workload. Whatever you do, don’t act fake or force excitement. Boss’s day is not the appropriate time to try and get a promotion or a raise. Being personable and honest is a great way to stand out.

Don’t Forget Your Jacket!

Just like your mom, we don’t want you going to work without your jacket! You might catch your death of a cold. It’s easier to take layers off than to be stuck without anything. And, what else did she used to say? Oh yes, we once knew a kid who didn’t listen to his mother and he got frostbite on his ears!

Ok, so maybe we aren’t as adamant as your mother, but we really do think now is the time to talk to a representative about the jackets we offer. Winter will be here before you know it and you don’t want to be stuck outside in the wee hours of the morning freezing.

Service Uniform offers team jackets

The solid team jackets are our most popular jacket for the season. These jackets come with a knit collar, cuffs and waistband to keep warmth inside and chill out. They are also compatible with the Zip-In/Zip-Out Liner for extra warmth and comfort. The outside shell is made of materials that lets your body breathe but also keeps the cold out.

We’re very familiar with the cold weather here in Colorado, which is why we picked the best jackets for you. At Service Uniform, we’re dedicated to creating the right uniform rental program for you and your company. From Pueblo to Fort Collins and all the surrounding areas, there are over 22,000 individuals along the Colorado Front Range wearing uniforms we provide – which means we know what we’re doing.

So don’t make us tell you again, it’s a bad idea to leave the house without a warm jacket. If you do it again, we’ll tell your mother.
