This past year has been such a great year for us! We formed new relationships, celebrated employee milestones, and did some work on our operations. One thing we accomplished that we’re really proud to show off is our newly redesigned website. We know that our customers want accurate information at their fingertips so we’ve designed our website to not only look stylish but to be more user-friendly and interactive.

With such a great year, it’s crazy to think that we can top it all in 2015 – but we’re sure going to try! With the great support of our community right here in Denver, the hard work of our employees and the traditional business values we’ve carried with us for years, we know that Service Uniform will accomplish more in the year to come. As 2014 comes to an end and we reflect on our careers as well as our personal lives, we’re all thankful for the opportunity to work with such wonderful customers.

How big are you into recycling? America Recycles Day, celebrated on November 15, is dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and to buy recycled products, and we think it’s important to help raise awareness. A program of Keep America Beautiful, the purpose of America Recycles Day is to promote the benefits of recycling and to encourage more people to join the movement to create a better natural environment and to make a difference.

At Service Uniform, we work hard to decrease our impact on the environment. From our recycled hangers program to our t-shirts made from recycled material, we know that it takes an innovative company to figure out ways to reduce waste. On America Recycles Day, we encourage everyone in our community, from Fort Collins to Pueblo and all over the state, to promote recycling awareness, commitment, and action.

Reducing our impact on the environment doesn’t just mean recycling; it also means reducing and reusing resources. At Service Uniform, we know that our services include a lot of washing. In fact, our products go through up to 17 different cycles in the washer. Although our services use a lot of water, we’ve figured out ways to reduce our impact by using less and processing dirty water through our wastewater treatment system. Service Uniform also utilizes the most advanced technology in the industry, including our washing machines which are more water efficient than your home washer. Our machines can not only wash up to 500 pounds at a time, but also use 44% less water per pound of clothing than a home washer. We’re always looking for ways to save water without lowering our cleaning quality, and so far, so good!
