Different Ways to Wear Green… Even With a Uniform

St Patricks Day GreenFun fact: Did you know that the original color associated with St. Patrick was blue? Because of the shamrock symbol that the Saint used to teach about the Holy Trinity, we now associate him with the color green and shower ourselves in it to celebrate. And now, give a big welcome to St. Patrick’s Day by adorning your uniform with a splash of green! Here are some ideas for celebratory uniform accessories.

Green beads are a fun way to be festive and get a little jangle in your step. Hats are also a fun and playful way to accessorize with green. A green pin will look nice and won’t get in the way if you are doing physical labor. Also, it doesn’t get much more elegant than green nail polish, and don’t forget about green socks, which you can pull up for all the world to see.

We hope you have an enjoyable St. Patrick’s Day!

RFID v. Barcodes: Who Wins?

Our efficiency at Service Uniform is amplified by our use of RDIF Chips and readers over barcodes. Many uniform rental companies rely on barcodes for each garment to organize, distribute and track their products. Barcodes are those little line and number sequences on price tags, while an RFID Chip is embedded into the garment.

There are pros and cons to using both barcodes and RFID. On their own, barcodes can wrinkle and fade with time, washing, and use. However, barcodes are great for identifying a garment right off the bat, while RFID technology is able to scan and identify garments with ultimate accuracy, ensuring the right garment is delivered on-time, every time.

At Service Uniform, we ensure that your garments are correctly identified, 100% of the time, by using both RFID and barcodes in our Blue Chip Tracking System®. By offering barcodes to our customers, we make sure that identification is available not just to us, but also to you and your employees.
