Meet Your Certified Inspector

Purchasing uniforms is not a one-time decision. Company uniforms require consistent cleaning and maintenance. At Service Uniform, we employ certified garment inspectors to make sure that each time your uniforms come in for cleaning and repairs, they return as good as new.

Our certified garment inspectors proactively and weekly inspect each garment as a part of our standard process. This ensures that we can replace or upgrade your uniforms at no extra charge to you, immediately upon recognizing wear and tear.

In addition, when you return a uniform for repairs or cleaning, a service order is generated automatically thanks to our Blue Chip System®. That means your garments will be returned to you both on time and accurately.

When you choose Service Uniform, you are choosing timeliness, service, cleanliness and quality—again and again. This is due not only to our Blue Chip® technology but also to the proactive, reliable people who regular inspect your uniforms to ensure consistent maintenance.

National Cocoa Day

There are very few things better than curling up in a blanket with a hot mug of cocoa. So join us in celebrating National Cocoa Day! Everyone has their favorite brands or recipes, but here are some non-traditional twists on cocoa to warm you up:

Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa

There’s no such thing as too much chocolate?! Try adding some chocolate chips or half a chocolate bar to your mug before pouring in the steaming cocoa. This is a lovely after-lunch dessert to sip while finishing up some stuff in the office.

Coconut Hot Cocoa

If you’re a coconut fan, go nuts—add coconut milk, coconut extract or coconut flakes to your hot cocoa (or all three!). Top with some marshmallows and chocolate syrup to make it a truly indulgent treat. This one is perfect for serving to some friends at a low-key holiday get-together.

Peanut Butter Hot Cocoa

It is with a happy heart that we suggest Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate. Throw a tablespoon of peanut butter into your mug of cocoa, along with a little bit of sugar and maybe some vanilla extract. Then grab a blanket and bring it with you to the base of a mountain for winter picnicking.

Espresso Honey Hot Cocoa

There are honey lattes, mocha lattes, and half-hot-cocoa-half-coffee concoctions out there—why not combine them all? Add a shot of espresso, a splash of milk, and a teaspoon of honey to your hot cocoa to help it all go down. Enjoy this one while reading a book or doing some work at home.

If you love chocolate as much as we do, you’ll want to try all of these recipes in one night. We hope you enjoy!

The Power of a Uniform

Uniforms are the symbol of uniformity for school children, companies, the military, boy scouts and the list goes on. There is a sense of pride when wearing certain uniforms, that’s why we wear our favorite team’s jersey on the night of the big game.

Historian believe that the first uniforms were worn 2,000 years ago and were used by people to identify which group or tribe they belonged to. Some uniforms were believed to have magical powers and were used to strike fear into the heart of the opposition – sound familiar? It’s a theory still used by sports teams to this day!

Some of the most decorated athletes of our time still felt that certain uniforms carried magical powers. The greatest basketball player of all time, Michael Jordan, wore his University of North Carolina shorts under his Chicago Bulls uniform for every game of his pro career for good luck. He went on to win six championships, so maybe there was something to his theory!

If you need a powerful and magical uniform that will help your work team achieve high success, let Service Uniform outfit you in the necessary attire to improve your image, employee morale, safety and productivity!

We Will Never Forget

September 11th is a day that no American will ever forget. Over the last 14 years, our country has slowly gone back to our day to day lives, but every year we look back and remember those that lives were ended due to terrorism.

While this is not a day to celebrate, there are several ways to commemorate and honor the lives we lost. One way is to perform acts of service in your community. Volunteering at a veteran’s hospital or homeless shelter is one small way to improve your neighborhood and remind those around you that this is still a great and caring country.

If you wish to make a direct contribution to those affected by the attacks, you can show your support by making a donation to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. You can make a onetime donation, become a member or volunteer at the site.

There is no way to take back the atrocities that occurred on this day, but moving forward and treating people with kindness year round is just one of many ways we show that we will never forget what happened.
